About Us
A New Jersey nonprofit, Liquid Church has history dating back to 1999. What started as a small Bible class of 12 people grew into 150 members by 2001. It was at this time that the group moved into its first building, a tavern, which was chosen to reach and engage the unchurched. Six years later, Liquid Church was established as an official church, serving Essex County, New Jersey.
Since its inception in Morristown, New Jersey, Liquid Church opened three additional locations in Nutley, Mountainside, and New Brunswick. Local residents can attend one of its many daily services or visit www.liquidchurch.com to access its online religious community. The online church provides services five times a week, with three on Sundays, and is accessible to locals as well as those outside of the New Jersey area. The Liquid Church website also provides an option for submitting prayer requests, getting involved in community activities, and learning about life groups and classes offered to the public.
